About the project
Dietitian Gül Aybala Murat's website works in two steps: it offers people arriving from search a set of free tools they can actually use, then invites them to book an appointment. Sessions take one of two forms: face to face in her Kemalöz office in Uşak, or by video for clients in other provinces.
Visitors get an answer before they book
On the homepage, a BMI card updates as soon as the height and weight sliders move. Anyone curious about more than BMI can move on to the calculators, which cover ideal weight, body fat, and waist-to-hip ratio as well as daily calories, water intake, macros, and weight gain during pregnancy. A second set of free tools needs no account: a seasonal produce calendar, a sugar cube visualizer, Build Your Plate, a weight journey simulator, and a nutrition profile quiz. That way, someone who isn't ready to book yet still finds something useful.
Booking starts with the type of session
The booking page first asks whether the session will be in person or online, then shows a calendar of open days and times. A short intake form comes last. It asks for contact details, a few health questions, and how the client usually eats. The counseling packages come in two sets, online and in person, and within each set they differ by how often you meet.
Clients follow their progress in a portal
After signing in with a phone number, each client sees a personal page: past measurements, the current diet plan next to earlier ones, and recipes written just for them. Blog posts, the gallery, service pages, FAQs, and regional pages for each province can all be changed in the admin panel. Turkish and English versions are available, along with a light and a dark theme, and everything runs on Next.js.
