About the project
Sisay Gayrimenkul lists homes, land, and commercial property in İzmir, to buy or to rent, and its site routes contact through WhatsApp. So we set out to shorten two steps: getting to the right listing, and asking about it.
Finding the right listing
Search starts from the bar on the homepage. On the listings page, visitors can filter by sale or rent, category, district, price range, room count, building age, and whether the place is furnished. Visitors without a search in mind can start from the homepage instead, which offers shortcuts by district and category, answers common questions, and explains the process step by step.
Questions arrive with context
A listing page tries to settle the first round of questions on its own: what it costs per square meter, what the property offers, where it is, and which similar listings are worth a look. Photos open in a full-screen gallery. Tapping "Ask on WhatsApp" opens a ready-made message that includes the listing number, its title, and a link, so the office knows exactly which property is being asked about. Visitors can save listings to their favorites. The request form splits in two: one path for property seekers, another for owners ready to put a place up for sale or rent.
Seeing which listings get attention
This is where performance comes in. For every listing, the panel tracks how many times it was viewed and how often its WhatsApp button was tapped, then lists the listings drawing the most interest, so decisions about what to promote can rest on numbers. The same panel is where staff add or duplicate listings with several photos each, mark requests with a status and notes, and handle settings and backups. For search engines, listings and FAQs are marked up with structured data, and the sitemap builds itself. Under the hood is plain PHP 8 with no framework and no Composer. It runs on shared hosting and can use either SQLite or MySQL for its database. Visitors can switch between a light and a dark theme.
