About the project
For a teacher from Turkey who wants to keep teaching in Germany, the road ahead is long: recognition of their qualifications, a visa, the language, the move itself. Begüm, who lives and teaches in Germany, guides teachers through it one-to-one under the name Almanya'da Bir Öğretmen (Turkish for “A Teacher in Germany”). Her site has two jobs: show visitors every step in order, and get them to book an introductory call.
Six topics, five steps
Six cards on the homepage spell out what the consulting covers: visas, settling in, a German language roadmap, career consulting, compensation measures, and full recognition applications. A five-step roadmap then shows the sequence, starting with the first call and ending with the visa and the move, so visitors know what comes when.
Packages side by side, fees in the first call
The three packages, Full Recognition, Roadmap, and Move to Germany, can be read one card at a time or compared in a single table. Fees aren't listed; they're set in the introductory call. To book, a visitor picks a topic, then an open day and time. Times appear in Turkish time, and the call itself happens over WhatsApp video.
Updating the site takes no code
Behind it is PHP 8, with no database at all. Its admin panel handles bookings, including cancellations and closing off days. It also covers every page's text, the packages and FAQs, the title and description each page shows in search results, and even the logo, colors, and working hours. The interface comes in Turkish and English, in light or dark mode.
