About the project

For Captain Fargo, the goal was booking requests that come straight through the site, and only for days that are actually free. The business charters private sailing yachts with a skipper, setting out from Orhaniye into Hisarönü Bay.

Guests get to know the boat before picking a date

Each boat in the fleet gets a page showing guest capacity, cabins and bathrooms, length, a starting nightly rate, what the price does and doesn't include, and a gallery. A booking request takes three steps (dates, details, confirmation), and the calendar only lets guests select open days, so a request can't land on a date that's already taken. That calendar is the key software piece: availability is updated from the panel, and guests see that same calendar.

The route is clear before anyone sets sail

Where can you drop anchor between Selimiye and Bozburun? Bays and Islands answers that on a page of its own, then lists what's on deck and what there is to eat on board. Photos and videos are collected in a separate gallery. Guests can get a feel for the trip before choosing a date.

Calendar, prices, and content stay with the business

When a price changes or a week fills up, the business updates it in its own admin panel, which also holds incoming reservations, content, images, and SEO settings. Guests can read the site in Turkish, English, or Russian, with hreflang links (tags that tell search engines which page is the same content in another language) connecting the versions and structured data on the pages. Visitors from search were planned for, too: service area pages for districts in Muğla and Antalya, plus blog posts, give them more ways in. Next.js powers the site.
